After leaving Skidmore College in 1983, Iris Kufert-Rivo earned an M.F.A. from Bard College in 1987. Her work has been included in group and solo exhibitions in the New York/New Jersey area at such venues as the Morris Museum, Johnson & Johnson, Henry Street Settlement, and Artists Space Gallery. Iris has taught Studio Art in the New York City public schools for the past 18 years. Iris Kufert-Rivo resides in Jersey City with her husband and two children. She maintains a studio in the Journal Square area.
